This is my third trip to Romania and when I got off the bus at the end of the long journey, I was greeted with “Welcome Home”! It sure feels like the time passed quickly and it was great seeing my Romanian family again! ❤
Our third day here we visited the abandoned elderly and mentally challenged in three villages. As we showered them with love, hugs, songs of praise, and prayer, I thought about Matthew 25:31-46 – the story of the least of these. What we can offer these dear souls is temporary at best, but it is genuine and they are thankful! It’s probably the most emotional day for me because it is heartbreaking to see so many of these precious abandoned ones. Our prayer is that they may come to know Jesus Christ, His perfect love; His perfect peace.
“Then the King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Mt. 25:40
